Gilles Morel (France)

French, 40 years old
Degrees in Psychology, Theatre and Cinema.

Sixteen years of professionnal experience in theatre as an actor, director, playwright.
He has managed with Philippe Goyard the theatre group "Graffiti"" (20 creations - International tours - Official Selection Festival d'Avignon 1986)
Next creation : "Combat de n&nnonegrave;gre et de chiens" by Bernard-Marie Kolt&rieregrave;s,  directed by Philippe Goyard (november 1997)

He is a founder of Coronado Films SARL (1993), a menber of Coronado Films International (feature films, documentaries, multimedia production)
He is working as a cameraman, editor, writer, director, webmaster.

He has given numerous training seminars in theatre and video production (Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Valence)

He has over the past three years set up an in-house television station "Espace TV" in Valence prison teaching prisonners the skills of running their own television station.

Since 1993, he has structured and managed with Tatyana Moguilevskaya a partnership relationship with Russia.

Five trips to Russia, Ukraina and Moldava (1 month each) since 1994. During these trips, some of the art works have been collected, technically adjusted or even restored, and subtitled.

• non-commercial distribution of video-art collection "Vent d'est" (including almost 120 Russian, Ukrainan and Moldovan media-art creations) has been presented to many international festivals in France, Germany, Belgium, Osterreich...
• invitations of Russian artists to workshops in France (Yuri Leiderman, Tania Detkina in Art3 Contemporary Art Center-Valence)
• Franco-Russian-Moldavan-Ukrainan Web Ressource project "3 roubles 62 kopeks" (more than 1000 files) with the "Distance Learning Laboratory" in Piereslavl-Zalevskii (since 1996)
• settlement of Franco-Moldavan Web Art Projects (SCCA Moldova).
