(Russian-English, 500 pages., colour) Edition - 1000 copies. Editor - Irina Alpatova, compiled by - Olga Shishko, concept-design - Alexei Isaev.
The catalogue is the first in Russia professinal english-russian edition, absorbing in it theoretical and practical discussion experience on history and development of new art technologies in Russia. This edition includes cultural research, made by 50 well-known western and Russian critics, theoreticians, philisophers and artists, history and bibliography of video- and media-art.
The following members participated in this catalogue: Geert Lovink (The Netherlands), Erkki Huhtamo, Minna Tarkka (Finland), Kathy Rae Huffmann (USA-Austria), Esther Dyson,Woody Vasulka, Gohn Hanhardt , lev Manovich (USA), Alfred Rotert (Germany), Lois Bec (France), Piotr Krajevsky (Poland), Michael Bielicky (The Chezh Republic) and many others. The catalogue "NewMediaLogia/Topia" is the final part of SCCA big project i n Moscow -New Media Art Laboratory. It includes educational course of the Laboratory "New MediaTopia" exhibition and "NewMediaLogia" international Symposium.
